Syrian Land Mine

“Take a look at my latest project recreating the Syrian landmines with a pressure switch to add a penalty to. Jeff Jennings of Improvised Electronics sponsored a 3D printer (Zortrax M200) and a Circuit Board CNC (Bantam Tools Mill) allowing me to have a portable build station in a deployed environment. The only thing requested were some pictures. With that being said I’m excited to bring you this project, that because of Improvised Electronic’s Sponsorship, is going to be pushed out to you guys absolutely free. Improvised Electronics is going to host the files which alleviates me from posting files with a functioning switch. There are gerber files for a circle PCB with 4 tactile push buttons and two additional solder points so you can wire in a penalty. When I created landmines like these before I took some heat because people said I was going to create a functioning device. While this is literally a container with 4 push buttons by having Jeff to host the files where people have to be vetted takes the pressure off me. Honestly every EOD unit should have a 3D Printer and Circuit Board mill and I hope to see that become a reality someday. Enjoy and keep on building!” -Ben Summerfield
