Description
This course builds on competencies gained by bomb technicians and military EOD operators. Students learn to think critically and react discriminatingly to provide a professional render safe response with minimum public impact. They learn and practice skills to improve team safety, professionalism, planning and task management skills. Participants set up an incident control point (ICP) from which to plan and manage an effective render safe by developing a detailed threat assessment, and plan and execute a professional response. All training scenarios are set in the U.S. to train for the domestic environment, and the course covers devices currently in use globally. For military customers, we can script threat scenarios in any operational environment. Students participate in an instructor-led debrief at the end of each task.
