Course Duration: (3 DAY) 24hrs

 

Upon completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge, skills and abilities to:

  • Increase situational awareness of the threats presented by the presence of unexploded ordnance

     

  • Identify basic ordnance (military and civilian) to include how they function and basic safety considerations

    •  

  • Underline procedures and best practices to follow when encountering UXO given the situation and environment

Description

This 3 day – 24hr, classroom based, this course starts by defining UXO and underlining the UXO threat in respect to the participants’/organization’s daily environment. Participants are exposed to UXO functions and effects. Realistic training aids are utilized throughout this course in order to enhance the learning experience. Participants are educated on a brief historical background on UXO scenarios from civil war to modern day concerns.
