This circuit uses a 555 timer in an astable configuration to oscillate the pin of a Binary Counter IC to fire a detonator through an N-Channel MOSFET. In this configuration the base of the MOSFET is attached to 12 bit of the Binary Counter and the bomber can adjust the total time using the provided variable resistor. This device can be easily reconfigured for extremely long timers.
The parts in this kit will allow the student to complete this lab.
