This circuit utilizes an RC-Timer to provide a safe arm timer of ~90 seconds. This device is used with two firing switches in an OR configuration where either switch (Touch Release or an LDR) can fire a Det. This is designed as a Cat A scenario that involves a Victim Operated Hostage Device. The victim will be holding a touch release switch and an LDR sensor is to be attached to the victim’s neck with a hood covering the sensor hiding it from view and keeping it in darkness.
The parts in this kit will allow the student to complete this lab.
