This circuit uses an RC Timer to arm an LDR light sensor to fire. The bomb is placed in darkness,and the bomb is stable. When the ambient light increases, the resistance of LDR1 starts to decrease until it arrives at a level where it allows current to flow through SCR1 to the detonator.
The parts in this kit will allow the student to complete this lab.
