This circuit utilizes an RC-Timer to provide a safe arm timer of no more than 90 seconds. This device is used with two firing switches in an OR configuration where either switch (Touch Release or an LDR) can fire a Det. This is designed as a Cat A scenario that involves a Victim Operated Hostage Device. The victim will be holding a touch release switch and an LDR sensor is to be attached to the victim’s neck with a hood covering the sensor hiding it from view and keeping it in darkness.
The parts in this kit will allow the student to complete this lab.
