84 – P-Channel Dark Sensor

This circuit uses an RC Timer to arm and a dark sensor to fire. The bomb is placed in light, and the bomb is stable. When the ambient light decreases, the resistance on the voltage divider of LDR1 and R1 starts to decrease until it arrives at a level where it allows current to flow through Q1 to the detonator.
The parts in this kit will allow the student to complete this lab.
