Improvised Electronics is pleased to offer Miles Maintenance by with our Cubic Certified Technicians. IE will take custody of the equipment. Certified technicians will then inspect and troubleshoot each piece of equipment and ensure it is fully operational IAW the technical manuals and local SOPs. IE Technicians will make the necessary repairs and fully document all parts and corrective actions taken. IE will clean and inspect all subassemblies and take any necessary corrosion control measures recommended by the manufacturer.

IE will perform corrective maintenance and repair. IE will restore the equipment to full operation and will ensure all equipment is outfitted with all ancillary parts IAW the manufacturer’s BOM. IE will document all corrective actions, including parts replaced and associated costs, and deliver this report to the end user NLT 10 days after the repair has taken place.

After the gear is returned to the customer it will be covered under our one year warranty. Please see below for terms and conditions.

 

Limited Warranty Statement A. Improvised Electronics, LLC (IE) warrants to the end-­‐user customer that the MILES products covered under this warranty will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the delivery date. B. b. IE in no way warrants the operation of any product to be uninterrupted or error free. C. IE’s limited warranty covers only those defects that arise as a result of normal use. This warranty does not apply to defects that result from: D. improper maintenance or modification; E. operation outside the product’s specifications; or F. unauthorized modification or misuse. G. If IE receives, during the applicable warranty period, notice of a defect in any product which is covered by IE’s warranty, IE shall either repair or replace the product, at IE’s option. H. If IE is unable to repair or replace, as applicable, a defective product which is covered by IE’s warranty, IE shall, within a reasonable time after being notified of the defect (180 days), refund the purchase price of the maintenance plan for the inoperable gear. I. IE shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund until the customer returns the defective product to IE. J. Any replacement product may be either new or like-­‐new, provided that it has functionality at least equal to that of the product being replaced. K. IE replacement products may contain re-­‐manufactured parts, components, or materials equivalent to new in respect to performance. L. IE’s Warranty Statement is valid in any country where the covered IE product is distributed by IE. Contracts for additional warranty services, such as on-­‐site service, may be available from any authorized IE service facility in countries where the product is distributed by IE or by an authorized importer. Limitations of Warranty To the extent allowed by local law, neither IE nor its third party suppliers makes any other warranty or condition of any kind, whether expressed or implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose.
