Component substitution notice
Components are specified by capability, not by brand. Product names and photographs are representative of the class of item supplied.
Supply in this market moves quickly. Frames, flight controllers, instruments and tooling go out of stock, get revised, or are discontinued without notice. Improvised Electronics reserves the right to substitute any component based on availability, and will do so with an item that meets or exceeds the published specification for that line. We do not downgrade a kit to hold a price.
Where a specification is contract-critical — NDAA or TAA compliance, a required interface, or a standard your unit must certify against — tell us before you order and we will confirm the exact part in writing on your quote. The full line-item list with specifications and qualified alternates is available on request for your purchasing file.
