This circuit uses a ATtiny (also known as Tiny AVR). These chips are a subfamily of the popular 8-bit AVR microcontrollers, they typically have fewer features, fewer I/O pins, and less memory than other AVR series chips. This circuit has been developed as a mail bomb and is a victim-operated switch.
