SCR 1 and 2 are in parallel, SCR 3 and 4 are parallel, but SCR 1 and 2 are in series with SCR 3 and 4. This makes the circuit a Two OR Configuration for arming and a Two Or Configuration for firing. If either of the arming SCR’s (SCR 3 and SCR 4) becomes forward biased, the circuit is now armed. When the circuit is armed, if either of the two firing SCR’s (SCR 1 and SCR 2) becomes forward biased, the circuit fires.
