15 Student MTT
This 40hr classroom and practical exercise course delivers a curriculum based on Insurgent’s improvised explosive device tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP). The students will design, construct, and understand the maintenance procedures for IED training aids. The course will provide information that will assist a training unit on establishing aggressor practices for force on force training. This curriculum is taught from the insurgent perspective, and focuses on targeting US and Coalition Forces.
Day 1- Circuit Fundamentals
Day 2- Prototyping and Test Equipment
Day 3- Victim Operated Device Build
Day 4- RCIED Device Builds
Day 5- Capstone Project- RF Armed Sensor Fired Device Build with Multiple Triggersusing the IE PIC IED Board
